Almost everyone hit the 20's this morning.  It will probably be even cooler tonight.  Here are the lows this morning. Tonight there will be a few clouds with light winds.  Lows will dip to the mid to upper 20's.  There is a freeze warning again tonight.  This will be the last one of the year because the growing season is now finished.  It will warm up a little tomorrow. Hurricane Sandy will stall the weather pattern out for a few days which means we will see several days of cool weather.

Tonight, the mild conditions will continue and so will the wind. Lows tonight will drop to the mid 50s. Wednesday features a cloudy and mild start with rain on the horizon. A cold front will trigger scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly in the afternoon. Some storms could be strong with wind and hail being the primary threats. After that, Thursday will feature cooler temps in the 60s for highs.   KSPR Meteorologist Lindsey Slater You can follow me on Twitter and *like* my Facebook Page!

What a beautiful day!  Tonight will be a little cool.  You could even call it a little chilly.  Lows tonight will be around 50.  I do expect a few upper 40's.  Despite the cool start, Sunday will warm nicely into the upper 70's. A gradual warm up is expected for the work week.  It won't really be hot but a few upper 80's are possible midweek.  The rain will hold off until the end of the work week. A cold front will bring more showers and storms in on Friday.  It will be a fairly strong front so we will need to watch out for possibly more severe weather.

We'll be foggy to start off the day, but eventually it'll clear up. Highs today will boost to the low and mid 70s with a stray shower possible as our stubborn front slowly pushes south. Tonight, we cool back to the low 50s under decreasing clouds. Over the weekend, things will be rather pleasant, with more sunshine and highs in the mid 70s. Next week? Sunny, warm, and dry.   KSPR Meteorologist Lindsey Slater You can follow me on Twitter and *like* my Facebook Page!

The spotty showers will continue tonight and eventually end on Monday.  Most of the widespread good rainfall occurred to the west but locally some heavy showers are still possible before this system moves away. Tonight lows will be near 70.  Most of the rain showers will be south of I-44 on Monday.  The clouds will start to clear out by afternoon. The rest of the week should dry out and warm up to the 90's.  No record heat but slightly above average for late August.

It is chilly this morning.  Wind chills are in the mid teens.  The winds will calm down by this afternoon.  The sun will also come out by midday for almost all of us if it hasn't already. The highs will still be below average but tonight the winds will shift around to the southeast.  Tonight will be in the mid 20's.  For Thursday highs will be in the upper 50's with even a few 60's! The warm weather will continue all the way into the weekend.  On Saturday evening into Sunday, showers and even a few storms will start to break out across the area.  We could see some good rainfall totals with this system.

The rain has stayed mainly north of I-44 but it will soon overtake areas to the south.  The cold front in Arkansas has really slowed down.  That means the area of rain will take its time to move through.  Expect off and on showers all day. If you are headed out to the high school football games tonight, expect some more light showers.  The better chance for rain will be south of I-44.  Tonight lows will be in the mid 50's.  A few more showers...

Rain moving in tonight, and some of it may be heavy. A large swath of rain across Oklahhoma continues to push to the northeast and will be here in the Ozarks very soon.   Here is a look at our model forecast for rain by midnight tonight.   With the anticipation of heavy rain, a Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the counties in green below. The most rain should fall along and south of I-44.   Our latest model plots the highest amounts from Eminence to West Plains, down to Harrison, AR. Everyone should get some rain, but obviously the further south and east you get the more rain you should receive.
