(Ozark, MO) -- Christian County says an FBI profiler expressed interest in the death investigation of Rufus Church. Highway Patrol is welcoming the input. Investigators are not saying how long the profiler will be involved, but are hoping he'll help them say 'case closed.' For the church family, the pain is still raw. "In your darkest moments the horrible things run through your mind," says Jessica Church, Rufus Church's daughter. For the Ozark community, the loss is still fresh.

STRAFFORD, Mo. - For a family in the Ozarks, this holiday will hold special meaning. This will be their five-month-old son's first and last Christmas. Logan was diagnosed with a deadly genetic disorder called spinal muscular atrophy - type one. It is the most severe and most common genetic cause of infant death.  "We are just going to love him as much as possible while he is still here with us. Whenever he is gone, we are going to, as much as we can, keep his memory alive," says Logan's mom Tia Ruth.  Tia says her pregnancy with Logan was normal until the third trimester.

OZARK, Mo. -- Here's a followup to a story we first brought you last week.  Roxanne Allen of Ozark held a garage sale to pay for her own funeral. Sunday was the final day of the sale. Her story has touched many hearts. More than 200 people came to visit with her. It wasn't so much that they needed those items; it was because they wanted something to remember this remarkable woman by. "A little overwhelmed at the amount of people that came out and the people that didn't really want to buy anything, they just wanted to talk and hug," said Allen.

When Ozark originally enacted their pawn shop ordinance, they didn't include buy-sell shops. Now police say it's causing problems. The City passed a pawn-shop ordinance in 2008. It mandates all pawn shops describe and log every incoming item in a national computer database called LeadsOnline. But Cptn Thomas Rousset says they've had problems tracking stolen items with buy/sell shops. “When thieves take the stolen property to these other businesses, there is no way of tracking it other than going in and asking them if they've seen it and many don't keep records because they don't have to,” said Rousset.
