Federal agents raid business in Battlefield

BATTLEFIELD, Mo. -- Federal agents raided a business for drugs.  Armed DEA agents and Greene County sheriff’s deputies surrounded Bilbo's Earth Store on Wednesday morning.

They were serving a search warrant for synthetic drugs.  The raid lasted a couple hours, during which regular customers came by wondering what was going on.

“We come here all the time to look at t-shirts and pipes we never saw anything unusual,” said regular customer Ashley Spancic.

Officials wouldn't say if they found anything or if the shop will re-open.

The Greene County sheriff wouldn't release much information but did say this bust is a part of a much larger, ongoing federal investigation.
