SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — University of Missouri red-shirt junior quarterback Ashton Glaser has decided to transfer to Missouri State.

Glaser announced the move via his Twitter account saying in a tweet, “MIZZOU has been amazing and I’ll never forget it but for now I need to do what’s best for me.”

And going on to say via Twitter: “I will forever be a Tiger at heart.”

Glaser, a Springdale, Ark. native, was a dual-threat quarterback coming out of high school. He threw for 3,169 yards and 31 touchdowns to go with 351 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior in high school on his way to being named Arkansas Offensive Player of the Year.

Glaser redshirted his freshman season and only played in one game in his time at Missouri, rushing two times for three yards in a 69-0 blowout of Western Illinois.
