Springfield, MO - Twelve area high school bowling teams got together on Saturday with trips to state on the line.
The City Bowling championship featured schools from the Ozarks battling for 1 of 4 available spots in the state tournament. In the end it was defending state champion Nixa winning the city title and punching their ticket to Columbia. Joining the Eagles at state will be Parkview, Rogersville, and Glendale.
The state bowling tournament will be held on Memorial Day weekend. Nixa and Glendale have won the last 2 state titles.
