A Douglas County, MO woman will be sentenced next month after entering an Alford Plea in a child abuse case.
Prosecutor's say Britini Tyra of Ava violently shook her boyfriend's son, Karson, in April 2011, leaving the boy hospitalized with extensive bruising.
Tyra is scheduled to be sentenced February 24th in Douglas County.
Baby Karson did not suffer any internal injuries in the attack, and doctors say it's a miracle he does not have any brain damage.
