a mid-missouri teen charged with killing a nine year old neighbor will be in court tomorrow for a plea hearing.
The Cole County prosecutor says Alyssa Bustamante will accept a plea deal for second degree murder. Bustamante had been charged with the first degree murder of Elizabeth Olten. The reduced charge carries a maximum 30 years in jail sentence and a possibility of parole.
The judge can accept or deny the plea tomorrow. Bustamante is scheduled to go to trial January 30th in front of a Greene County jury.
