Two men accused of taking advantage of people after the Joplin tornado agreed to pay victims for their action.

A Joplin landlord has agreed to a judgment with the Missouri Attorney General after being accused of price-gouging tenants in the aftermath of the may 22nd twister. More than a dozen renters complained that David Box, Junior was jacking up rent prices following the storm.
Box agreed to provide restitution and apologize to the people who complained. He also agreed to pay a $5,000 civil fine.
Steve Blood
A Georgia man has agreed to pay $20,000 in civil penalties after he promoted benefit concerts and t-shirt sales for Joplin victims then pocketed the money. Steve Blood also agreed to make restitution to people who donated to his fake charity.
