Friends of the Library Book Sale Going on Now in Springfield

Proceeds of the Friends of the Library sale help the Springfield-Greene County Library District

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — It's your chance your to pick up some books on the cheap this week.
     
Friends of the Library are holding their Spring Book sale at Remington's in south Springfield.
     
But it's not just books offered up for sale this week,
"We have books of all kinds, children's books, fiction, encyclopedias, we even have videos, audio books. We've got a lot of vinyl records this year. We've probably got over 2000 vinyl records." says Bill Bogart of the Friends of the Library.

Spring 2011 Book Sale will be Tuesday-Sunday, April 26 - May 1, 2011.

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m.-8 p.m.; Sunday 1-5 p.m.

Remington's, 1655 West Republic Road, Springfield, Missouri

Proceeds benefit the ten branches and bookmobile of the Springfield-Greene County Library District.
