SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — An Ozarks will be sentenced February 7th for 75 counts of animal abuse.

A judge found Virginia Gambriel guilty of the misdemeanor charges in early January.

Greene County Deputies found dozens of neglected animals at Gambriel's Fair Grove home in March 2010, including 40 dogs and 13 cats.

Investigators say the animals were all living in one room of the home, which was saturated with urine and feces.  The animals also didn't have clean water and most were sick.

This isn't the first time Gambriel has been in trouble for animal problems.

Back in August of 2008, authorities in Polk County removed 6 young children and 370 animals from her home near Pleasant Hope.

In that case a judge sentenced Gambriel to 45 days probation for two counts of child endangerment, she was also barred from caring for children or more than three animals.
