Springfield, Mo. — Mt. Vernon native Liz Moriondo will be the featured performer Friday night at the grand opening of Drury's $13 million O'Reilly Family Event Center.
The former Lady Panther basketball player (08-09) left her hoop career to pursue music. She is now living in Nashville, Tennessee and recently released her first album titled, "Same Way as the Wind."
Moriondo hits the stage at 8:00 pm Friday night after the MDock band opens at 6:30. The night also includes Barbeque before and fireworks after. For tickets visit Drurytickets.com.
