Man Drowns on Meramec River

STEELEVILLE, Mo. (AP) - An eastern Missouri man has drowned after a riverbank gave way when he was trying to park his vehicle.
The Missouri State Water Patrol says that Rodney Caudill of Steelville was trying to park his vehicle close to the Meramec River Saturday.
The patrol says the bank gave way, sending the vehicle into the river.
