A house explosion on the Lake of the Ozarks "shook the ground," startling witnesses who marveled at the sight. Kent DeFraties, who took pictures of the blast (including the one with this story), was repairing a dock on a nearby cove "when he and his crew heard the massive explosion and felt the ground shake," his wife, Linda, tells KSPR News. "He took the work barge and went to see what happened." That's when he started taking pictures. The explosion happened around the 26-mile marker, not far from Sunrise Beach.
